Homicide: Life On the Street, Season 1

A unit of Baltimore homicide detectives struggle against an over-load of cases and the curves life throws them. Flamboyant loner Frank Pembleton is forced to take on a partner and it turns out to be rookie Tim Bayliss, much to his disgust. Detectives Meldrick Lewis and Steve Crosetti poke further into a routine case and uncover one Calpurnia Church who's been killing off husbands and relatives for the insurance money. Detectives Beau Felton and Kay Howard are determined to keep their 'cases solved' record perfect. Detective Stan Bolander finally pushes his partner, john Munch, to follow up on a dead case involving a murdered druggie. Detective Bayliss is stunned when his first case is that of a brutally murdered eleven year old, Adena Watson.
