The perfect superhero movie for people who are tired of superhero movies. Look, I like marvel & DC films(Few), I’ve seen them all. This film however, felt so Fresh!! It wasn’t a “Save The World/Universe” I saw this film for the first time after watching all the DCEU films & MCU films (post endgame) It’s a movie about a dark city (with personality of its own, I swear, Gotham is a character of its own) where we see the dark lives of these 3 animal/people (hero? Villains? Vigilantes?) The Bat, The Cat & The Penguin. Catwoman & Penguin were made with so much care, that even Batman/Bruce Wayne is only in it for 31 minutes of the movie! (It’s a 2 hour movie) and it works!! Watching this film for the first time (post Endgame) felt so amazing!! Yes it’s strange! But that’s the point! I actually believe in this Gotham, this city, I could almost breathe it! Penguins with Jetpacks? Yes!!! Some people complain about Batman not having an arc, and that’s true! But it’s also the point! Batman Returns is a movie about not being able to change, even if you wanted to, there is no happy ending. This is a very dark movie. Also, Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman is equal to Heath Ledger Joker. Now, I like Catwoman as a character. Penguin is gross, but fitting for this universe. Batman is great! Quiet, mysterious & frankly probably not even the hero in this story. There is no other superhero film like Batman Returns. And, probably never will be. Also, I’m not a fan of Tim Burton, but this film. It’s my #1 favorite superhero movie of all time.

Catwomen was to Violent penguin was to scary

Would love to be automatically upgraded to 4K free of charge we need to be automatticly upgraded to the 4k verisons of these movies for those of us waiting for the mega box set in september having a 4k verisons of the digital verisons in the mean time would be great please upgrade everyone to the new 4K master

This is by far beyond the BEST Batman movie ever made since I’ve been born, same timeframe. Michelle Pfeiffer and Michael Keaton as Catwoman and Batman has never been nor will ever be replaced 😻💚👑👑😻. *Tim Burton, Thank you

“Batman” from 1989 is definitely better, but this movie is not far behind it! I love the way Danny DeVito could not have portrayed the Penguin better, and Michelle Pfeiffer also did a fantastic job for her portrayal as Catwoman. It is an amazing sequel to the first movie, and I really enjoyed it when I watched it for the first time on a ski trip. This isn’t a rip off!

This movie was my first introduction to Batman and its my favorite Batman movie ever The cast was on par with Michelle Pfeiffer as catwoman and Danny de Vito as the penguin and Christopher walker as an associate of the penguin was brilliant over all the best movie ever
