Bullied at school, Elias is defended by Christian, a boy greatly troubled over his mother’s death. This was a beautifully filmed movie. The plot bounced around a bit, but I loved the film! If you are confused, just keep watching...

Very strong film. At first it seemed a bit uncertain as to where it's going. You have to be patient -- it pays off. As we learn more about the motivation of the characters, the film grows in intensity. I saw it with a small group that was at first unsure, but as the film gained momentum everyone was glued to the screen. A good film with insights into Danish character and reserve.

This is a great film for anyone that likes meaningful movies that explore human emotions, relationships and flaws. My only problem was that ending seemed to a bit too tidy. Still, it's a very deserving winner of the Best Foreign Film Oscar!

I appreciate the writer/director trying to draw similarities between global and local tragedies, grief, violence and loss, as well as, the rise and consequences of bullying, however, the contrasts and personal stories muddied the message for me. And when you look at the professional(?) reviews, even the critics can't agree on what the message of this film was all about. Yet, this film won international awards including several Oscars. Kinda crazy. Quite confusing for me. Glad I only rented this montage.

Great no name cast! You think you know how it's going to end but you really don't. I could feel a great connection with all the characters. Great job and hope to see more from this aspiring young talent.
