Description

Nancy, Kris, Quentin, Jesse and Dean all live on Elm Street. At night, they're all having the same dream--of the same man, wearing a tattered red and green striped sweater, a beaten fedora half-concealing a disfigured face and a gardener's glove with knives for fingers. And they're all hearing the same frightening voice... One by one, he terrorizes them within the curved walls of their dreams, where the rules are his, and the only way out is to wake up. But when one of their number dies a violent death, they soon realize that what happens in their dreams happens for real, and the only way to stay alive is to stay awake. Functioning on little to no sleep, the four surviving friends struggle to understand why them, why now, and what their parents aren't telling them. Buried in their past is a debt that has just come due, and to save themselves, they will have to plunge themselves into the mind of the most twisted nightmare of all... Freddy Krueger.

What is it like? I have not watched it yet because I’m only 11 but from a YouTube channel named Dead Meat I watched all the a nightmare on elm street kill count though and the A nightmare on elm street crossover kill count and the trailers and no offense But a nightmare on elm street does not seem scary to me

I like what actor Jackie Earle Haley provided for Freddy, the idea that he’s somewhat the same... Just a lot more serious with his victims. I thought it was a bad idea to imply that Freddy was partially innocent, instead of simply being a child cereal killer. The fact that he was really the victim ruined the movie for me, like it started off great and then... Got a little sad. The only thing I liked about this movie was Freddy’s new attitude, despite the fact that Robert England really kills it as the character, and that makes me a fan... I really preference the original films. The first was great, the second was kinda bad, the third was a little better, 4 and 5 were just sequels, 6 was terrible, but funny, 7 was sorta canon, and a reflection toward the first film, and 8 (If you count Freddy vs Jason) was AWESOME, 9 (The remake) was ok, or simply just good.

A lot of people hate on this film, but tbh it’s worth watching for Jackie Earle Haley’s performance as Freddy. He does a FANTASTIC job. The relatively medicore acting of the rest of the cast is easy to ignore.
  • Should have never been made .

I really did try to give this movie a chance since I’m a big fan of the franchise but it was so out of touch to the original and the characters weren’t likeable either but as far as Freddy Kruger that new actor was truly awful , NOBODY can replace Robert Englund . PERIOD
  • BEST MOVIE WATCH IT

This beats the rest of the movies. Especially Freddy vs. Jason.
