buy it - rent it - great movie, fun story, and it's interesting seeing Winkler and Keaton play off one another so effortlessly. This was before beetleguise and I think before Mr. Mom as well. Shelly Long was a huge star on Cheers at the time and she's amzing looking - she can make scrambled eggs for me any time:P

This is a terrific comedy with THE BREAKTHROUGH performance of that or any year. Michael Keaton stole the show. Great ensemble. Great direction.

This is my favorite movie of all time! Michael Keaton is hilarious and Henry Winkler is great as the straight man. Best one-liners ever! It also has a fantastic sound track!

A hilarious film from the early 80s. Winkler, Long, and Keaton are hilarious throughout. A well spun comedic tale with plenty of pitfulls, most of which are the result of Bill "The Idea-man" Blazejowski's (Keaton) outlandish schemes, and the navigating through them and all the relationships contains the magic. Well directed by Howard. I believe if this movie does not make you laugh, then perhaps you are already dead.
This guy was Fonzy!!

What a departure for Winker; still a comedic role, without the bravado. If you're into films like "Buddy, Buddy" and "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" you'll love this. Its a low budget, high calibre comedy pushing the bounds of social morals. Performances from Long and Winkler are strong, real, and brimming with vulnerabilities. And Keaton does a stellar job as the redoubtable "Id" to Winklers "Ego".
